-Supervises staff and oversees functions assigned to the Residential Re-Entry Center. The Program Manager role is critical to the Community Justice program. Bureau of Prisons compliance experience is mandatory with familiarity to practices and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Recruit, lead, manage, train, supervise, recognize, and develop staff to achieve established objectives; provide quality services in a work environment reflecting teamwork and mutual respect.
-Conduct or supervise annual performance reviews of all staff, including assessment of past year.
accomplishments corresponding to objectives set in previous reviews, coming year objectives
corresponding to current program goals, and professional development objectives.
-Oversee the mandatory training tracking system to assure staff are informed of training requirements.
-Oversee administrative functions assigned to the Support Unit including accounts payable, accounts receivable, personnel, purchasing, training, public relations, program evaluation systems, and electronic monitoring equipment.
-Oversee accreditation for the Residential Re-Entry Program including coordination of
documentation and periodic audits.
-Previous experience in automated case management system(s) is necessary.
-Other duties as assigned.
-Works under general direction.
Decision Making Authority/Self-Initiative:
-Carry out major assignments in conducting the operation of the facility.
-Perform work that affects the facility operations to a substantial degree.
-Hiring, firing, advancement, promotion or any other decision in employee status, or his/her
recommendations regarding such are given particular weight.

The Adult Re-Entry provides services for residents who have been convicted of felonies and are allowed to complete part of their sentences in a community-based, work-release facility.
