Principal Duties:

  1. Responsible to oversee daily operations of a warehouse environment for UCI.
  2. Locate and secure state and federal surplus property for clients. 
  3. Maintain an inventory system for a state agency to support the management of a large volume inventory and warehousing system.
  4. Coordinate and supervise the operation of a district, institutional, or regional warehouse or assist in the operation of a central departmental warehouse.
  5. Ensures that there is an adequate supply of materials available. Orders, receives, inspects, and stores equipment, merchandise, commodities, materials, and/or supplies.
  6. Conducts regular and/or spot check inventories of merchandise, supplies, or equipment.
  7. Identifies problems or potential problem areas and recommends solutions.
  8. Analyzes, summarizes and/or reviews data; reports findings, interprets results and/or makes recommendations.
  9. **This job may require incumbent to obtain and maintain a CDL.

**Incumbent may directly supervise staff-including: hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions.
