This is position is responsible for the following:
Employees work within a correctional facility and perform journey level plumbing duties under general supervision.
Employees will maintain or repair plumbing by replacing or mending broken pipes, opening clogged drains, pipe assemblies or installation of plumbing systems or components .
Employees will need knowledge with record keeping, reading blueprints building codes, measuring instruments, how to cut, thread or bend pipe to required angle, how to operate and or use hand and power tools or machines to perform duties.
Work duties will include instruction and training to staff and inmates who are involved in providing maintenance to the facility.
