POSITION: Florida Certified Corrections Deputy
HOURS: Full Time, 42 hours per week
Involves Corrections work maintaining care, custody and control of an inmate population and serving in a variety of assignments in the Bureau of Corrections. As a Corrections Deputy you will need to interpret and enforce all applicable federal, state and local laws, general orders, directives, policies and procedures of the Sheriff's Office and the Florida Model Jail Standards. Corrections Deputies work a rotating shift that will include weekends and holidays. Applicants must have successfully passed the State Officer Certification Examination (SOCE).
