The Ideal Candidate will:
Therapists utilize evidence-based treatment methods to reduce Offender recidivism by targeting identified criminogenic risk factors. Therapists are primarily responsible for completing clinical assessments, treatment planning, facilitating therapy groups, conducting individual therapy sessions, participating in treatment team meetings, providing crisis intervention sessions, completing clinical documentation regarding client progress, and completing discharge summaries. The Licensed Clinical Therapist positions are NOT public safety certified and do not require peace officer status or certification.
Positions may be filled as a Caseworker III or a Social Worker upon the qualification of the applicant.
Hold a Licensure as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Speak and Write effectively
Have the ability to maintain detailed records
Work as a team
Experience working with substance abuse and/or mental health clients
The Caseworker III shall be Licensed as Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, or a Certified Social Worker. The pay range for a Caseworker III is $22.11 - $26.02.
If the position is filled by an applicant who is licensed as Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, or a Certified Social Worker, the applicant must obtain the full LCT licensure within 30 months of hire.
