Chaplain/Director of Religious Services

Provide individual and group religious counseling to detainees and inmates inside the facility. Chaplains may also: coordinate with the community’s religious leaders, churches, synagogues, and mosques, and other resources to deliver programs to inmates; schedule services inside the institution; orient religious volunteers; handle emergencies affecting an inmate; and work with security staff to assure inmates receive the varieties of religious services and study consistent with the facility’s mission.
