Inmate Recreation Coordinator

A recreation coordinator may be either a civilian or sworn position working to develop, schedule, supervise and evaluate exercise, recreation and/or leisure activities for inmates designed to meet legal requirements and improve inmate behavior. Coordinators work closely with both security staff and program staff so their work is attuned to security needs, as well as the specific needs of inmates held in the institution.
