Librarian

May be paid employees or volunteers who work to establish and maintain leisure, law, and other library services in a facility setting. Using technology to bring the most resources to pre-trial and sentenced inmates librarians work to provide for effective use of inmates’ time, as well as help prepare inmates for re-integration into the community. Librarians work closely with security and program staff to develop and supervise programs and services, along with working with the community to secure resources.
