Maintenance Supervisor or Worker

Trained and certified to maintain the physical plant of a jail or prison. The work includes implementation of the preventive maintenance plan, routine maintenance, emergency repairs, budget preparation, and oversight of maintenance workers who may be inmates, or employees. Maintenance workers are skills tradespersons (e.g., plumbers, electricians, locksmiths) who have skills needed for routine and emergency of the facility’s physical plant.
