Vocational Instructor

Work in a variety of capacities in a jail or prison setting providing training to be used by inmates as they develop skills to seek and hold employment after their release, and/or in support of prison based industries (e.g. laundry, metal shop, food services). Instructors work closely with security and program staff to develop programs, screen inmates for participation, and evaluate initiatives to insure they support the facility’s mission and vision.
